Unsure of what was happening, I stood up as well, looking confused.

I heard footsteps walking round our department. I couldn’t trace the exact place the sound was coming from.

I picked up a very familiar scent in the air. I was more than certain I had perceived it before, just not in the office 

I turned my head to the side to see Kayden walking round the office, my eyes widened in shock.

Isn't he here just for investments? Or could he have a stronger connection to the CIFER enterprise that I didn't know about.

It doesn't matter the reason he is here. I have to avoid...
