Adrian's POV

I sat right there and watched helplessly as the doctors tended to their injuries. Derek has a gun wound on his shoulder. He's so lucky though. The bullet went right through and it did not hit any major organs.

A stitch, some anesthetic, and some strong painkillers did the trick for him. Stitching him up had hurt him so much and he kept screaming and cursing all through the whole process.

Within a few minutes though, the doctors were done with him and after cleaning him up properly, he fell asleep right afterward.

Abi on the other hand was not that lucky, she had blood all over her...
