Chapter 49

I felt the chilled breeze rushing against my skin, sending my hair to flight in different directions simultaneously.

My legs felt tied down to a spot but nothing visible was holding it together, my heartbeat gradually increased at this and my eyes so intense beneath it fringe of lashes.

A strange sound got my undivided attention, compelling me to follow it which led me to a little damsel sitting alone on the floor with her head buried in her arm.

She seems to be sobbing silently and rubbing her eyes with rush from time to time, I bent down to reach her size and called out to her....
