Chapter 69

I woke up with a start, having difficulty in breathing as I stared towards my open window like I was expecting for something to pop out from the curtains side.

The slow breeze coming from the window sent chills running down my spine as I had a tight grip of the bedspread with both hands.

My eyes went round the room like flash lights, scanning the whole place and ensuring that I'm safe just on my bed.

The room's temperature felt unnecessarily lower than it should  be during summer break, the curtains blew open and the sun ray made my face glowed.
