I'm not sure how long I slept, but David's body moving as he stands up and proceeds to remove me out of the icy pool wakes me awake. I sigh, and David touches my face, instructing me to get out of the tub.

David somehow walks out of the tub, cradling me without stumbling on the bathroom floor. It no longer hurts to open my eyes, and my shivering body keeps me awake.

I'm put on a bed, soaked. David lingers over me for a few seconds before standing up and walking around the bed to the other side.
