I was left speechless in the room, does Karol not recall anything that happened? Has she forgotten me? Mom shot me a disappointing glare and left the room. I couldn't bear to stay there any longer and see Carol's strange stare at me, so I left behind and ran out.

"Why are you crying?".

Mom's voice turns me back to him, "what did you just say?." I asked as he passed his handkerchief to me. "Clean your tears and be a man".

I cleaned off the tears in my eyes and pulled him in for a warm hug.

"Iv lost Karol, she doesn't remember me anymore"....
