Leilani stepped into Vincenzo's room. She looked at him to see he was already fast asleep.

She just watched him.

“Your breathing is too loud.” Vincenzo said and made Leilani jump. “Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you.” He said as he opened his eyes.

“Why are you awake?” I asked Vincenzo. Trust me it was stupid thing to ask.

“I should be asking you that.” He said and I walked towards him. I put my hand on his shoulder.

He shook his head as if to clear it. Touched my hands that were on his shoulders. He pulled them off and I can admit it hurt.
