Rage exploded in my chest. “What did you just say?”

I tried to stand, to lunge at her, but someone grabbed me from behind.

“Did you think we’d let you attack us like you attacked Joy?” a voice hissed in my ear. “We’re going to make you pay for what you did to her nose.”

“Let go of me!” I screamed, struggling.

But there were three of them, and only one of me. They dragged me back into the restroom and locked the door.

Then they started hitting me.

Slaps. Punches. They hit my face, my stomach, and my arms. I tried to fight back, but I was outnumbered...
