A persistent throbbing behind my eyes was the first thing that brought me back to consciousness. I groaned, shifting against sheets that felt far too soft, before my eyes flew open.
This wasn't my bed.
I sat up quickly, my pulse jumping as I took in the unfamiliar bedroom. Panic flared for a second, but the real shock came when I looked down. My clothes were gone. I was wearing nothing but a dark, oversized t-shirt that smelled strongly of expensive cologne.
I caught my breath, instantly clapping a palm over my mouth as fragments of last night came back to me.

My face burned...
