For the first time in months, I woke up without wondering when Nora was going back to the Blackwood mansion.

She was still asleep beside me, one leg tangled with mine and her head resting against my chest. Her hair was everywhere, half of it across my arm and the rest spread over the pillow, but I didn't bother moving it.

I'd waited too long to have her like this.

She'd spent most of that time going back and forth between the mansion, her apartment, and mine, staying with Maya while everything around the Blackwoods slowly settled down.

Lately, though, she'd been staying here more often than anywhere else...
