I groaned as I feel the sun rays hitting my face as they peeked through the curtains, disturbing my slumber. I opened my eyes and smiled as I looked over to see Lia's peacefully sleeping face as her arm was draped over my body, light snores coming from her nose. Her hair which was once beautifully curled was now a disheveled mess on top of her head as it fell over her sleeping eyes. I reached over and gently pushed the hair out of her face and at the feel of my touch her eyes darted open in a slight panic before they landed on me and softened.
