"Lia why didn't you tell us you were pregnant?" I asked as I sat up.

Again she tried to shrug her shoulders but failed because of the neck brace.

"I found out last minute that I was pregnant and I was in shock. How would you feel if you were told you couldn't get pregnant and then you're unintentionally pregnant? It didn't seem real." She explained to me.

I'm pretty sure it was all too surreal for her and she didn't know who to turn to.
