Quietness swept the room as everyone waited for alpha Devon's response.

Grayson cleared his throat to break the silence.

"Why should I?" Alpha Devon asked coldly and Grayson fidgeted.

"I have a daughter and she's the same age as your son. I know we've had a rough patch in the past but it's all in the past. The only way I can think of to mend things is for our children's alliance" Grayson uttered and Devon relaxed.
