The air was thick with tension. There was an obvious sense of unease more than when Dad and I were having an argument. Dad looked petrified, obviously dumbfounded.
"I really don't understand what's going on," he uttered as he furrowed his eyebrows. He waited in expectation, anticipating what the next Rosa or probably I, would say.
