My eyes shot open as the bright sunlight pierced through the window. Why the hell had Scarlett drawn up the curtains?

My sight was quite blurry, but as I turned to the side, I could make out Scarlett's figure sitting at the side of the bed. On her hand was a bottle- a bottle of whiskey I guess.

I watched in dismay as she took long swigs off the bottle. For goodness sake, didn't she know she was pregnant? Didn't she care about the baby?

"Hey! Finally awake?" She asked as she let out a chuckle that sounded so horrible. She dropped the bottle of whiskey on the ground...
