My heart raced as I followed Rosaline through the labyrinthine corridors of the hospital, the urgency of the situation increasing the already jaw-stifling tension between us. I still replayed the first statement she said to me in my head.
"What are you doing here?" Was it? Even her eyes didn't seem as though she wanted to see me there. Rosaline looked like she was holding a lot back. The things I'd rather say died on my tongue.
