Being woken up from sleep by the sudden ringing of your phone was one thing, but having to receive a call from the chairman of the company explaining to you why your presence in the company was no longer needed was entirely different -and trust me, it was infuriating.

I rubbed my eyes as I immediately threw the blanket off me, and jerked up from bed. What did I just hear? Were my ears failing me or what? The chairman said I I was no longer needed in the company? What a stupid joke! So ridiculous!

I picked up my phone and began calling some of the shareholders, but...
