Jace was sitting at the kitchen table, sharing a meal with the twins.

They were happily chatting and laughing together . It had been a wonderful evening.

The kids got to see Angel again, they had fun telling her things about school. She also made soup and dinner for them, even a dessert.

Most importantly Jace won’t be worried about those loan sharks threatening or harassing them anymore.

Suddenly the door to the house burst open. Everyone turned to see who was coming in, their faces filled with curiosity. Kerry stepped into the room. She was looking dishevelled, her hair a mess and her clothes wrinkled.
