Agatha's maid taunted me after the guards threw me in the dungeon. I wasn't afraid of the darkness or rats. I had seen the worst but the look Viktor gave me was killing me. I shouldn't have felt sad. Viktor would find out about my biggest betrayal one day but I was hurting.

Why couldn't I hate these two men in my life?
