ADRIAN’s POV

The golden gleans of light dazzling at the center of the hall are so bright. I think I'm going to go blind if I don't stop looking.

I immediately drop my eyes to the hall, noting the intricate floral designs of mostly yellow and white. The chairs and table are a sharp contrast to the floral designs—coated in black and white.

Everyone around is either clad in expensive tuxedos—as I like to call them—and elegant gowns. The air smells like power, influence and MONEY!

I walk further into the hall, now realizing that my father is walking beside me....
