ANSEL’s POV

The airport smelled of coffee, perfume, and exhaustion. Bags rattled across tiles and voices echoed over the PA. I sighed softly as I moved towards the park, hoping to find Roman, my older brother, as fast as possible.

As I came out of the sliding doors, I shifted my gaze to find his car nearby. A smile spread on my lips while I waited patiently for some time, letting my gaze snag on the car until the front door was pushed open and a figure exiting the car, only to make my breath hitch.

From the look of it, he wasn’t Roman.
