Ruby and Opula stood staring at the corpse of the security that was hit by the shooter, as the engine of the ambulance turned on and drove in blaring siren. They stared at the ambulance until it disappeared in the horizon. Ruby turned to his heart crown, held her face and pecked her on the forehead, with tears trickling down his cheeks, realizing that some minutes ago Opula had escaped death by the whisker.
