Enid never left the window until the last wave of pleasure ebbed from my face. And until I headed to the bathroom to wash up.

I was not expecting to meet him in the bedroom when stepped out of the closet in a fresh and crisp dress. I thought he'd be dressed and gone but he remained where he was by the window fully dressed in a pair of jeans and a white crew-neck shirt.

He looked casual in a way I had never seen him. When my eyes snagged him he moved to me from the window.
