Chelsea walked downstairs, just as Melford tumbled off his horse in an exaggerated manner, spreading his arms wide to embrace her.
"Chels, happy birthday!"
Before he could even get close, Chelsea shoved him away without hesitation.
She completely ignored Melford, her gaze locked instead onto the horse he had brought.
It was a stunning white horse—pure, sleek, not a single blemish on its coat. Spotting Chelsea, it lifted its front hooves slightly, greeting her with familiar affection.
A smile flickered in Chelsea’s eyes as she reached out to stroke the horse’s mane, genuine surprise flashing across her face. “Is this a Jade-Eyed White Dragon Horse?”
