“Oh… yeah..” Xena trailed off, looking away. She avoided topics relating to her parents because she didn't want to talk about it.

Ryder noticed the change in Xena's mood and that only made him want to know about them more.

“Xena? Did something happen?” Ryder asked cautiously. He wanted to know about her parents because she hadn't mentioned them before.

Were they dead or alive? And if they were alive, where were they right now?

A lot of questions ran through his mind as he waited for an answer from Xena.

Xena didn't know how to respond to Ryder, she didn't know how to tell him about her...
