Damon grunted in surprise when Clary clicked her fingers, it looked as though she had pulled something from her head. He looked down when Clary handed him a photo of a beautiful woman. She was a mixture of Clary and Adira with long dark hair that reached past her waist and a simple, if not extremely old-fashioned high-necked dress. She was surrounded by trees and flowers. She didn't look ecstatic, but she looked content, Clary side smile tugging at her lips. "She was beautiful," Damon said, looking up at his mate.

"That is my favorite memory of her" Clary said, pointing to a small flower tucked into mother hair. "Adira...
