"Who's Jessabelle?" I asked, hearing Devon say the name. "She is my girlfriend, Ivanna. Not Jessabelle you've referred to."

Devon seemed to shake his head slowly as if he couldn't believe his hearing and seeing. His face then spread a smile, looking sad. "When did you guys start dating? She's still as beautiful as ever."

Devon no longer said anything but looked at the photo with a hurt smile. Was it possible that he was referring to Ivanna in her previous life?

"Just now. She was born twenty-six years ago and has only been a vampire for a few months," I explained.
