“Go on,” Caroline said. Chloe gave a blank stare at her sister and looked at her watch. Ten minutes to go for the clock to stick at twelve.

She needs to do what the mysterious wicked man has told, and she’s ready to do it whether or not she’s interested. She’s not dumb, and she’s going to prove that now.
