Nicole stood there feeling extremely uneasy and shocked as the silence created such tension in the atmosphere. She didn't know what to do but the next thing she knew was that her feet were driving her out. She ran off the stage and down the dark hall, out the back door.

She leaned against a wall, closing her eyes as she felt her heart pounding against her chest frantically.
