"Bee, what's wrong with you?"

Edrik shifted to sit and checked on Sherena, who suddenly let out a whimper.

Sherena shook her head. Still crying, she curled up and held her stomach tightly, trying to alleviate the pain that was now attacking her abdomen.

"If it's nothing, you wouldn't be like this."

Edrik picked up Sherena's nightgown from the floor. "Put this on." He guided Sherena to sit and helped her put on the nightgown.

"What hurts?" Edrik asked, hugging Sherena.

"My stomach, Boo. I think my period has come," Sherena whispered. She unraveled herself from Edrik's embrace and slid off the bed.

"Where are you going?" Edrik stopped her....
