Flashback ten years ago

“mom! Where are you? Mommy!” I screamed when I didn’t find my mom next to me. I was only ten years old back then. It was my birthday and my mom, even with being so poor, offered me to go shopping at Christmas, which was my birthday too, to buy me a new dress.

I was definitely happy and excited. But all of a sudden, she disappeared! I thought I lost her, but that wasn’t the truth.

A man with a heavy voice came from my back and said, “come with me. I know where your mom is.”
