As soon as Anne saw that Zoe was helped over, she then dropped her eyes on Zoe's ankle, and once she saw the redness and swelling there, she laughed in understanding, "Miss Scott, since you have difficulty moving, why didn't you tell me? If I knew, I would have gone straight up to your place, and there would be no need for you to make a hard trip."

Adele did not like to listen to polite words, and as soon as she helped Zoe over, she dashed away.
