Two months had passed since I opened my eyes in Theodore's arms.

Two months since the golden light awakened my bloodline, wiped out the Silver Rot, and brought me back to life.

The valley had changed so much since then. The cold winter mist was gone, and now it was replaced by warm spring sunshine that made the pine trees smell fresh.

The whole village was lively again. Children ran along the dirt paths, farmers sang as they planted new crops, and workers were busy finishing the new wooden houses.
