“Someone answer me!” She yelled when she didn't get any response. “Who let them in?”

The lead guard stepped forward and bowed before her.

“Princess Alyssa, we apologize for the intrusion. Lord Theodore of the Blackmoon Pack has sent these gifts to you. He wishes to thank you for your kindness, your hard work, and the care you have shown his people.”

Alyssa stared at him, her brows furrowed slightly in confusion. “Lord Theodore sent gifts to me?”

The guard bowed. “Yes, Princess.”
