Veronica didn't speak, she was about to hang up.

Tom continued, "Veronica, shall I take you? I know you must really want to leave Nick Cage!"

"Take me away?"

"I also want to avenge you otherwise, I wouldn't have killed Sarah by mistake! Now the police are looking for me everywhere!"

"You killed Sarah North?" Veronica couldn't believe Tom was so vicious. They were husband and wife.

"It was a momentary mistake! Veronica, if you want to leave Nick, I'll help you!"

Veronica's eyes were cold.

Get her out of Nick's house? That sounded like a fascinating idea!
