The elevator door opened and Toby stepped out. He looked at Chloe gloomily.

"What's with the arrogance?"

Chloe took a step back and looked at Toby warily. "This is a family matter. This does not concern you."

Veronica looked at Toby who came into view. She frowned slightly. How could this man be discharged from the hospital again?

How did Toby get here fast? Did he drive like a maniac just to get here while Chloe is still here? He is so reckless.
