It takes us almost six hours to get back to Missouri and the Blood Fangs pack. Every time Blake begins to wake up, Scott knocks him out again. I was impressed with Scott's strength but also concerned about what he'd been through as a pup. He had said he was tortured, and the thought of someone torturing any pup breaks my heart. This trip has made me realize that my life with my adoptive parents paled in comparison to the trauma that some of these wolves have been through.
