Carrie and I giggled over something funny as we walked into an ice cream shop, that was quite close to her clinic. It was the first time I was seeing her after Alistair’s aunt had abducted me, in order to get him to give up his powers.

“I’ve missed hanging out with you, you know,” She said, as we walked over to order for the flavours we wanted.
