Why did I still feel bad that I was the reason that forced Brent to get into an altercation then storm away in a rage? I wanted to thank him and also apologize for him being put into the situation but of course, he never returned to the ballroom.

"You okay?" Maya asked.

"Im fine." I took another sip of the spiked up punch. I really didn't want to go into full detail of how I felt because she may think Im crazy. Besides, she seemed a little unfocused herself so I didn't want her to add another concern to her plate. "How are you?"
