I took in a vast amount of air, struggling to catch my breath. My heart was racing at the speed of light, pounding against my chest. I could barely put my response in to words. It was as if I had forgotten everything.

Starring at me, Jason eagerly and nervously waited for my response. Refusing to string him along in this silent battle, I mouthed the word I wanted to say but again, not a sound left me.
