I sat in my room, thinking, wondering how she might feel as this very moment. I was struggling. Straining myself to hold back the inner monster that was on edge.

"Hey Jason?" Aaron walked in, taking a seat next to me. "It’s almost time."

"Are you sure we can trust this Zeiden guy?"

"No.” I answered truthfully. “But our choices are limited and we are prepared for whatever might happen.”
