My heart skipped a beat when I entered Kira's bedroom and didn't find her anywhere. The sheets on the bed were tossed aside, and the room felt uncomfortably warm even though the windows were thrown open.

It was also empty. Where was Kira? 

My first thought was that she was hurt somewhere. 

"Kira?" I called out in a loud voice hurrying to the bathroom and throwing the door open. I heard the faint sounds of her heartbeat before I saw her. She was sprawled on the floor, unconscious, a hand stretched out towards the bathtub.
