Holy hell, the universe has to be kidding me right now. Something big is about to go down.

As much as I want to go to this dinner, I can’t ignore the massive elephant in the room.

“What is it, Selena?” I asked, locking my gaze with hers. I need to read her emotions, to figure out what’s going on behind her suddenly guarded expression.
