As I stood inside the courtyard, admiring beautiful flowers in the small garden. My wolf stirred and I knew that she was near.

The fact that she didn't have to be within my eyesight for Adel to stir, awed me. It meant that my wolf could sense her presence without even seeing her.

Then I turned to know if she had entered the courtyard but she hadn't. She was with Dexter at the entrance of the courtyard and they were smiling about something. 

I growled possessively as I saw her smiling without a care in the world at Dexter. I trusted Dexter not to betray me or stab me...
