I kept an eye on the rogues who were in front of us by peering over Alpha Jason's shoulder. Although their commanders had departed a little while earlier, their ranks remained and continued to stare uncomfortably back at us. As his whole body rumbled under me, Alpha let out a loud, guttural roar that served as a message to everyone.

I moaned and hid my head between Alpha Jason's shoulder blades as they eventually turned and started to follow out. My knees were still flimsy and trembling and couldn't support any of my body weight. My muscles were trembling so badly that my brain could hardly control them...
