Violet grabbed my hand before leading me out of the bedroom, through the halls and out the back doors. She abruptly stopped as we exited through the doors. “I need to cover your eyes.” She told me.

I furrowed my brows. “Why?” I asked hesitantly.

She gave me a warm and comforting smile. “Just trust me.” Violet requested of me, and although I was reluctant, I did trust her.
