A few days ago

After a day had passed Rebecca decided it was time to go see her father and tell him about the new revelation, so she managed to sneak out of the castle and went straight home, then she felt that something was off but she shook it off.

As she reached the house, she was welcomed by the maid, "Welcome, my lady,"

"Where is my father?" Rebecca asked

"In the study," she replied, but Rebecca noticed that it seemed like she was hiding something, but she chose to ignore the maid and went to look for her father
