Rafael's eyes were deep and captivating, and Eileen found herself inadvertently drawn into them. By the time she snapped out of it, Rafael was already leaning in, about to kiss her lips.
She quickly raised her hand to block him. "I don't believe you. If you're not married, why would the City Hall in Spain register you as married?"
"Perhaps there was a system error." Rafael said, holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes sincerely. "Sweetie, after all this time together, you still don't know what kind of person I am?"
His words managed to loosen Eileen's resolve.
