The sudden turn of events sent Faye into a frenzy of screams.
Rafael, indifferent, watched the scene in the villa before slowly making his way outside, Declan following suit.
As they reached the doorway, the air seemed to freshen instantaneously.
Declan handed Rafael a cigarette.
"How do you plan to deal with these three?" he inquired.
Rafael, squinting, brought the cigar to his nostrils, sniffing delicately. His tone remained detached, devoid of any discernible emotion. "The ones who should be sent to the police station will be sent, and the ones who should be buried will be buried, as for Grace... she stays."
"Reluctant to let her go?" Declan joked....
