"Out with friends?" He smiled, even in the night, his smile could easily remind people of warm sunshine.

Eileen smiled shyly and lowered her head. "No, with my husband."

Half of the warmth in Brian's eyes dissipated. "You two are really affectionate."

Eileen smiled awkwardly and then raised her head. "What about you? Out with friends?"

Brian hesitated. "Sort of."

After they finished speaking, there was a moment of silence between them. After a while, Brian spoke again, "Can I meet your husband?"
